The adhesive backing on New Pig Corp.’s Pig Grippy Mat is designed to hold the absorbent mat in place without bunching, sliding or shifting, and without leaving a residue. Eight layers of fine-fiber polypropylene enhance absorption and retention of liquids, including oils, gasoline, coolants, solvents and water. A poly backing creates an additional barrier to prevent absorbed liquids from passing through to the floor or bench. A tough, spun-bond top layer with heavy-duty stitching is designed to stand up to wear and tear from rough parts, tools or foot traffic.
The mat is available in a range of roll sizes and precut pads, suitable for a variety of garage and workshop applications. It can be cut with scissors or a utility knife to fit almost any size application. A garage floor drip mat catches drips underneath vehicles to protect garage floors; a workbench liner protects the workbench and provides an absorbent, cushioned surface for working with engine parts and rebuilds; a toolbox liner absorbs moisture and oily residue to keep toolbox drawers neat; and the Traffic Mat Rug reduces slip and trip hazards while it catches leaks and drips.
