WEB EXCLUSIVE: Alliance Polymers and Services LLC, Romulus, Mich., has launched the first of its new Viprene TPVs. The Viprene G series of general-purpose grades is the first line of TPVs formulated by the company, which also sells its own line of styrenic TPEs under the Styflex brand name and markets Polymax Maxelast TPEs and BASF Elastollan TPUs. Offered in hardnesses from 45 Shore A to 50 D, Viprene TPVs are aimed at applications from appliance and window seals to rollers, mechanical equipment, gaskets, cable jacketing, boots and bellows, marine products, and vibration-damping components. Viprene G is available in natural and black pellets.
