Miles Chemical Co. will showcase its CoPrep TMR Plus, a one-step precipitant/coagulant for treating wastewater that is designed to enable surface finishing captive and job shops to comply with low-discharge limits on metals present in continuous flow and batch waste streams. It is said to eliminate the need for sodium metabisulfite treatment methods where hexavalent chromium is present and to generate less sludge.
