Designed to perform as an all-in-one controller, the SIGNET 8900 is said to be suitable for use in any application where more than one single-channel or single parameter instrument is required. Absolute input versatility allows mixing and matching of up to six sensors types: flow, pH, ORP, conductivity/resistively, pressure, temperature and level. Two base units one with back-lit LCD and the other with a vacuum fluorescent display, can be configured with many I/O options by the user in the field Six international languages display options are user-selectable in the field, creating a "universal controller" for global installations and operator ease-of-use. Further functionality is achieved via plug-in modules for either two, four or six input channels, universal AC line voltage or 12-24 VDC operation, up to four analog inputs and up to eight relays. The product offers modular configurability, as users can purchase only what is needed for specific applications, while able to make changes, upgrade or expand the system to meet new requirements inexpensively in the field.
