DeFelsko’s PosiTector PC Powder Checker noncontact powder thickness gage measure uncured powder coatings using ultrasonic technology in order to automatically calculate and display a predicted cure thickness. The gage uses no wire or cables to avoid disturbing the powder and enables measurement of small tubes, odd shapes and moving parts. According to the company, this gage helps to control powder consumption and ensures adequate coverage, reducing waste.

Without required software, the gage features an internal memory capable of storing 1,000 readings, continually displays/updates basic statistics and automatically generates formatted reports with measurement summaries and charts.
