The BRONZEX® SW organically brightened, white bronze process for barrel electroplating is a fully organic brightening system that uses no heavy metal brighteners in the coating process, leaving surfaces bright, attractive and completely free of toxic additives. It easily meets the Öko-Tex 100 Standard and its organic composition is said to help eliminate allergy problems often encountered with other nickel coatings. The coating is ammonia-free, making it stable and easy to operate. It may be used as either a topcoat or undercoat for palladium, Pd/Ni, silver or gold products. It is ideally suited for all decorative applications, particularly clothing fasteners where strict industry and governmental restrictions exist. The low foam process may be also applied to many other products that require attractive topcoats, including custom jewelry and consumer electronics items. Extensive testing is said to have proven the coating to be resistant to high temperatures and other environmental corroding elements.
