Ace Equipment Co.’s Low NOx oven is designed to efficiently strip coatings from parts such as wire baskets while maintaining low nitrogen oxide emissions.

The company built the oven for a customer who had achieved inadequate results with a variety of other stripping methods, including sand blasting, chemicals, cryogenics and fluidized bed. High labor costs, hazardous materials disposal, danger to personnel and energy costs forced the customer to look for an alternative, the company says. The Low NOx oven meets the requirements of California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District and is designed to provide efficient parts cleaning with uniform temperatures. It is fully automatic and features one-touch controls for ease of operation.
