Stäubli Robotics has two new painting robots models available, the RX160EX and the RX160EXL CS8C EX. The robots’ main features include an enclosed rigid structure, multiple mounting configurations, large working envelope, and a small footprint. The robots can handle a variety of automated finishing applications, from traditional application to electrostatic processes.
In addition, new VALPaint software provides a simplified user programming and application tuning interface for all painting parameters. The package’s main features are easy creation of painting jobs using predefined functions to build a scenario including: trajectory, I/O, preset functions, delays, subprograms, and multiple gun management right off of the teach pendant.
