Paul N. Gardner’s CMI153 coating thickness gage is small, but is designed to be versatile and rugged for single-handed use in harsh conditions. It is equipped with a belt clip for portability, features one-button operation, and requires neither calibration nor resetting between measurements. The gage can be used on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates and structures. It is factory-calibrated and requires only a swift- base, re-zero correction when measuring on different metallic substrates.
