The 456 high-temperature Plug-In Integral Probe (PINIP™) is designed for use with the company’s 456 coating thickness gage. This probe can accurately measure coating thickness on surfaces up to 450°F and screws into the base of any 456 separate gage to transform a separate gage into an integral unit for single-handed operations.  The company has also included high-temperature Calibration Shims. With high temperatures affecting the properties of metal, the ability to calibrate directly on the hot surface allows for the highest level of accuracy. Shims are supplied in sizes of 200 mils and 50 mils.

Global trade fair organizer Deutsche Messe AG announces renaming its surface finishing O&S Expo to “SurfaceTechnology GERMANY.” The new name is already in effect for the next edition of the international trade fair for surface treatment technology from June 5 to 8 this year in Stuttgart, Germany.
