Exair’s Premium Reversible Drum Vac system uses compressed-air to quickly fill its drum and then, by simply turning a knob, uses the same stainless steel vacuum pump to quickly empty it. The system features a two-way pump assembly; a shutoff valve; a 10-foot (3-m) static resistant hose; a 20-foot (6-m) compressed-air hose; heavy-duty tools; a spill-recovery kit; a toolholder (most systems); a drum dolly; and a 30-, 55-or 110-gal drum with lock ring and lid. There are no motors or impellers to clog or wear out, and the system sound level is 86 dBA, making it suited for a variety of applications.
The company’s 1 NPT Stainless Steel Super Air Nozzle delivers 6.6 lbs of blowing force for blowoff, cooling and drying applications in corrosive, high-temperature, food and pharmaceutical environments. It is suited for blowing heavy materials and for situations where the air nozzle cannot be mounted close to the target surface. The nozzle directs compressed air to a single point of convergence, delivering a concentrated stream of high-velocity airflow with hard-hitting force. Airflow cannot be blocked, ensuring safe operation (as required by OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.242(b)). At 80 psig, air consumption is 135 scfm and sound level is 99 dBA.
The nozzle features Type 316 stainless steel construction with a 1 ½-inch (38-mm) hex body for ease of installation using a standard wrench or socket. Applications include ejection of heavy parts, drying, part and machinery cleaning, chip removal, liquid blowoff, and cooling hot parts.
