Robot Armor is a new type of robot cover that is designed to help keep paint overspray out of the axis on painting robots. It covers each segment of the wrist separately, so it doesn't get twisted like a cloth cover. Each segment of the cover is molded from solvent resistant plastic and attaches to the matching segment of the robot wrist. There are flanges that extend to cover the axis, keeping overspray out. To absorb overspray, company also makes matching foam covers that snap to the outside of the product. The covers can be washed with solvent and reused for up to three months.
