Nanomyte Mend-MW, a waterborne self-healing coating from NEI Corp., is designed to reduce end-user costs by minimizing the need for repairing and repainting damaged surfaces, extend the service life of the structure to which it is applied and maintain the finish of the original painted surface.

The coating is a spin-off from the Somerset, N.J., company’s Nanomyte Mend, a broader self-healing technology platform for polymer coatings.
