Synder Filtration’s anode cell design is engineered for electrocoat applications. The company claims this design will optimize the electrocoating process and improve the efficiency of paint film build. This new tubular anode cell consists of a more robust top cap design and improved internal modifications, offering better electrical contact and less restriction on the anolyte return flow. In addition, an improved design of the polypropylene outer guard is available for both the 1.5" and 2" TechCell anodes. This outer guard is flush cut with the collar and bottom cup to eliminate the use of clamps, providing greater ease in anode cell maintenance. The newly designed anode cells have the same robust anionic membrane to effectively remove excess acid from the paint bath.
