Flameguard is a spray chemical treatment for spray booth waste, eliminating the threat of spontaneous combustion associated with saturated filters.

Flameguard is a spray chemical treatment for spray booth waste, eliminating the threat of spontaneous combustion associated with saturated filters.  The product is the ideal complement to the company’s line of highly efficient and longer lasting spray booth filters.  In booths where filters are currently being changed daily to avoid spontaneous combustion, spraying with this treatment may extend filter service life by eliminating the threat of combustion. These filters can then be left in over night and changed less frequently according to the comapny.  In addition, treated filters are said to be less prone to shedding volatile coating dust that can affect the quality of the finishing process.  The chemical treatment is tinted blue to visualize adequate saturation of filters when spraying and one gallon of concentrate treats 250-340 sq ft of filter media.
