Sullair’s SP oil/water separators are designed to filter oil and other contaminants from liquid condensate created by compressed air systems. The systems guarantee less than 100 ppm oil carryover, the company says.
Three models of the molecular filtration systems are available—the SP-25, SP-40 and SP-60—with maximum compressor capacity ranging from 20 to 3,000 scfm and a working temperature range of 30 to 155°F. All three SP models contain a high-quality media substrate that is formulated to attract and restrain contaminants while repelling water molecules. Unlike gravity-type separators, these systems require no pumps, sensors or pre-separation filter pads. Condensate from the waste stream flows through the media bed where lubricants are trapped, and cleansed water flows to the outlet. Fumes, odors and messy element changes are virtually eliminated.
Featuring rugged HDPE construction, the oil/water separators are said to be easy to install and virtually maintenance-free.
