The core and edge design of Richards Micro-Tool’s Q Ball line of three-flute carbide end mills improves shearing ability and cutting-edge strength, which enables smooth entry and free-cutting action. The design is also said to provide quick chip removal and a quality finish. A three-flute center-cutting, eccentric-relief design enables increased feed rates for a variety of materials. The end mills are available with a 1/4" shank diameter, with end mill diameters ranging from 1/32" to 1/4". Specialty coatings are also available.
