The QNix 8500 sat, a miniature, thumb-sized wireless probe from TestCoat, is designed for simple, safe and accurate one-hand measurements, even in fatiguing standing and climbing jobs.
The instrument has no wires or cables to risk disturbing accuracy of measurement. With a range of wireless transmission of approximately 20 meters, users can easily take measurements at difficult-to-access areas and other crucial spots, where conventional gauges with extension cables will not reach.
With a weight of just 30 grams, this miniature probe also facilitates taking thousands of measurements on wide-spread surfaces, thereby reducing arm fatigue. According to TestCoat, ideal areas of application include construction and renovation of planes, ships and bridges as well as related security projects, steel works and corrosion control. The probe is designed to take up to 4,000 measurements before recharging.
