Haviland Products Co. will showcase its Jet Black B2 trivalent passivate, designed to produce a deep black, lustrous finish over both alkaline and acid-chloride electroplated zinc deposits.
The trivalent conversion process is said to be easy to prepare and easy to maintain, and to withstand as many as 250 hrs. to white corrosion in 5 percent neutral salt-spray solution when correctly applied in conjuction with Prodigy ECP or Prodigy Seal 3000 topcoat.
