After field trials in Europe at major auto assembly plants, Microdyn-Nadir has introduced Spira-Cel, a new PVDF spiral membrane that demonstrates improved performance characteristics for both fouling resistance and higher flux rates when directly compared with existing major competitive membranes, according to the company.

After field trials in Europe at major auto assembly plants, Microdyn-Nadir has introduced Spira-Cel, a new PVDF spiral membrane that demonstrates improved performance characteristics for both fouling resistance and higher flux rates when directly compared with existing major competitive membranes, according to the company. In addition, the new membrane can be supplied to retrofit any existing system with no process equipment changes, so that existing equipment can be used to provide higher productivity.
