The KPAK 8” Ultrafiltration (UF) module for electrocoat paint applications, equipped with easy-to-use connections, is said to be ideal for use in a electrocoating system or as a replacement in existing equipment. The module is a spiral wound membrane element in a self-contained disposable housing. Featuring a higher permeate output relative to paint feed, it is designed to provide users with significant cost savings. It can be installed as a direct replacement for all eight-inch diameter spiral UF elements, in either PVC or stainless steel housings, including systems with one- or two-inch diameter process connections. The module components are made from the same materials as conventional spirals, including the permeate carrier and the epoxy.
