Machined or manufactured medical parts can be scrubbed cleaner with less effort with the new SonicMax Ultrasonic Parts Washer.
The washer uses environmentally-friendly aqueous solution and ultrasonic energy in a hands-off, immersion unit to thoroughly clean delicate machined parts and assemblies that have difficult to clean crevices, blind holes and channels, yet is still gentle enough to remove residue from delicate exotic metal or plastic parts.
The ultrasonic cleaning process uses transducers to convert electrical energy to mechanical motion and directs that sound energy into the cleaning tank. The result is a cavitation bubble that implodes and releases a scrubbing effect on parts.
The washer’s 27×18×16 inch deep stainless steel cleaning tank is large enough for the largest machined parts and the programmable cycle timer and heater allows precise setting of cleaning parameters. A hinged cover allows full access to the tank interior and during down times reduces evaporation of the cleaning solutuion.
