VersaFlex’s Dzolv solvent/stripper is designed to break down and strip away uncured polyurea, polyurethane, epoxies and polyester resins from spray gun and equipment parts. It is a water-soluble organic solvent that contains no aromatics or petroleum distillates, and incorporates a high flash point and low toxicity. When used on cured polymers, Dzolv replaces most industrial solvents such as chlorinated hydrocarbons, the company says.
The solvent can be applied liberally and in baths where possible for stationary stripping. Once applied, the user can scrub the parts with a brush and other cleaning tools to remove the unwanted polymers.
