Calvary Industries’ Cal Prep 1469 is a water-based, dry-in-place pretreatment for metals that is safe for mild steel washers. The solution improves impact resistance and flexibility of topcoats over traditional pretreatments, the company says.
After cleaning and rinsing a part in a multi-stage washer, the solution is applied and allowed to dry on the part in a dry-off oven. It also can be rinsed with DI Halo in e-coat applications without reducing performance, the company says.
