Dipsol offers its ELV- and RoHS-compliant IZA-2500 acid zinc-nickel alloy system for rust and corrosion resistance. Operated from a single rectifier, this ammonia- and borate-free system deposits a uniform zinc-alloy layer consisting of 12 to 15 percent nickel to provide high levels of heat and corrosion resistance for cast iron brake calipers. The technology includes a hexavalent-free, trivalent clear or black passivate combined with high-quality topcoats that are said to exceed current performance demands. The product is available as a bright or matte finish to align with current wheel styles.
