We are proud to announce that Sirius Technology and Taskem have merged effective April 1, 2008 to form Coventya Inc. Sirius Technology, founded in 1991, is a global market and technology leader in electroless nickel coatings. Taskem Inc, a company with 40 years of expertise in the supply of surface finishing chemistry and long time technical partner with Coventya was acquired 100% in October 2007. The combination of these 2 market leaders creates the 4th largest general metal finishing supplier in North America.
Coventya is well recognized in Europe where they are a dominate supplier to the surface finishing industry.

What benefits will you derive from this merger?

- Coventya has access to many Tier one suppliers, OEM's and a variety of new market opportunities that you can now tap into.

- Product lines have been broadened significantly, giving you many choices for your plating and surface finishing needs. New and novel technology that was once unavailable in North America is now locally blended and serviced exclusively for you.

- Technical support, both tank side and bench top will expand and improve further. Sirius Technology and Taskem combined, have nearly 500 years in surface finishing expertise spread amongst our 60 employees in North America. We can also draw upon the global Coventya technology group that adds even more depth.

We want to assure you that as some things certainly will change, many things will not. From the personal and attentive service to the friendly voice on the phone, we will continue to provide the level of excellence you have come to know and expect. We will continue to operate from our facilities in Oriskany, NY and Cleveland, Ohio and the new company will be led by an executive team comprised of Dr. Alan Ruffini, Matthew Sisti and Erik Weyls.
