The U.S. EPA requires all hazardous waste "facility personnel" receive training at least once per year. ARE you covered? Is your facility up to date? (January Snow date – Make up CLASS). For those wanting training certification – YOU MUST bring with you a copy your facility’s emergency response procedures. You must read them prior to the meeting. The emergency response procedures should include the identity of their facility’s emergency coordinators, notification procedures for fires, spills, chemical releases, etc. and evacuation procedures and location of meeting place.
