Q. Is there any powder process where we can mix colors instantly and match color shades?

A. Liquid coatings can be formulated quickly by adding small amounts of tints to the base formula. Unlike liquid coating, you cannot add pigments to adjust color to the dry powder. There have been some on-site color matching systems designed, but they have not been deemed commercially viable, and they still do not match colors instantly the way liquid systems do. Manufacturers have gotten very good at matching colors quickly and supplying them in smaller volumes.
