Roy Metal Finishing of Greenville, South Carolina, announced a $60 million expansion project that will add new production space and a warehouse for its ever-growing automotive clientele.

John Pazdan, RMF's president and CEO, says the expansion is a result of growing customer demands.

“(The investment) is still mainly fueled by the automotive industry in the Southeast,” Pazdan told Greenvilleonline.com. “Clearly, BMW's growth and their new car models and things they are working on is part of it.”

RMF, which has about 250 employees, supplies parts to BMW Manufacturing in Spartanburg, and Bosch and Daimler Chrysler - Sprinter Vans in the area. Pazdan says the company is also speaking with Volvo about suppling its parts and is looking to branch out into the aerospace industry as well.
