A Brite Company has acquired Sunbelt Systems of Irving, Texas, one of the Southwest's largest suppliers of equipment and products for plating and metal finishing since it’s inception in 1983.
“We’re proud to announce the acquisition of one of the most respected suppliers of equipment in the metal finishing industry,” says Harry Hassell, national sales manager for A Brite, a Garland, Texas-based supplier of equipment, services and chemicals to the metal finishing industry.
“Sunbelt Systems has a tremendous reputation and reaches into all of Texas as well as much of the Southwest. We’re pleased to have them join us.”
Paul McGovern, founder and president of Sunbelt Systems, says his company is looking forward to adding its equipment expertise to the product lines manufactured and represented by A Brite.
“We are striving to make the transition seamless for our customers and staff as they take their place within A Brite,” McGovern says.
The new A Brite Equipment Group will be led by James Greer, currently A Brite’s purchasing and equipment manager. He will head up a team of former Sunbelt employees and be supported by the A Brite sales team. McGovern, Roy Harcourt, Lisa Montez and Martin Alanis will round out the team.
“We are very pleased to have the Sunbelt team and their customers join us here at A Brite,” says Frank Dunigan, A Brite’s President and CEO. “With the inclusion of Sunbelt, we can show a broader customer base just how real our reputation for providing positively outrageous service is.”
