J.R. (Jim) Blass, Director of Caterpillar's Product Validation and Global Technology, is the keynote speaker at the 2013 SUR/FIN Manufacturing & Technology Tradeshow & Conference.

 

� Mr. Blass is responsible for Global Product Validation including vehicle, engine, drivetrain, sound, dynamic, structural, certifications. In addition, his responsibilities include oversight of the company's product proving grounds, engines development testing, component development testing and manufacturing and metrology development.

 

"Based on NASF's Surface Technology Initiative, SUR/FIN conference officials felt it would be an ideal time to focus on the associations' efforts toward advancing a sustainable future for the surface finishing industry by presenting companies who have successfully met this challenge.
