The Chemical Coaters Association International has just added exhibit space to its 2012 Finishing Pavilion at FABTECH, November 12-14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Andy Goyer, CCAI’s Exhibit Manager, said the Finishing Pavilion exhibit space was quickly selling out, creating the need for additional space.
“In the past few weeks, we’ve had several companies expand their exhibit space,” says Goyer. “With six months until the show opens, we had very little space left to sell. We have been able to expand and obtain an additional 1,300 square feet to the Finishing Pavilion. We anticipate selling that space quickly as well.”
To date, more than 85 companies have selected space in the Finishing Pavilion.   Many exhibitors have enlarged their booth space over the first two Finishing Pavilions, Goyer says, allowing for more demonstrations of finishing products and services on the show floor.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a conference program that will feature 17 sessions devoted to finishing technologies, including powder coating, liquid coating, electrocoating, porcelain enamel, pretreatment and more. The majority of the finishing conference sessions will feature new presentations that will help finishers produce higher quality products while reducing costs. The complete conference program will be available in June.
CCAI has designated Treasure Island on the Las Vegas strip as its headquarters hotel. Treasure Island is the closest hotel on the strip to the Las Vegas Convention Center that is part of the official FABTECH hotel block. Goyer said that the official hotel block is already 50 percent sold out.
Nearly 3,000 individuals have registered for the show in the first month that registration was open. More than 25,000 attendees are expected to visit FABTECH in Las Vegas.
“We anticipate this to be our largest Finishing Pavilion yet,” says CCAI executive director, Anne Goyer. “Even the other pavilions on the show floor are seeing increased booth sales for Las Vegas."
