Whether you’re new to the industry, considering adding an ecoat line or have years of industry experience, ECOAT2020 offers education and insights to help make informed decisions. “We find this event to be a great way for finishers of other applications to discover how ecoat can benefit their own shops and operations,” says Todd Luciano, publisher of Products Finishing. “We are excited to produce another event that digs deep into the benefits and opportunities that ecoat offers.”

The event offers opportunities for attendees to expand their ecoat knowledge and interact with the world’s foremost experts. It includes a conference program that addresses the ecoating process and technology through keynote speeches, case studies and technical presentations, open-forum discussions, networking opportunities and tabletop exhibits by industry suppliers.

Preconference activities include an optional golf tournament, as well as an ECOAT Boot Camp 101 for those new to the process or who could use a refresher. This course will help set the stage for the next two days of technical presentations and panel discussions.

“Surface finishers will find ways to maximize productivity, quality and profitability in ecoating operations,” says Karen McGlothlin, conference manager. The conference offers over 35 technical sessions covering topics such as problem solving, cost savings and productivity, maintenance and best practices.

The industry's foremost experts will also be on hand to discuss a multitude of ecoat issues.

Keynote speakers include Jeff Oravitz, CEO of Seal for Life, and Rebecca Liebert, executive vice president of PPG, as they address transformation, changes and the future of the ecoat. Amber Carlson-Hays, president of Archway Learning Solutions, will wrap up the conference with a discussion on effective communication styles for working with millennials.

The conference also offers ample networking opportunities, making it easy for attendees who are looking for an ecoat community and connections. New this year, attendees can kick off the conference on a championship golf course and get to know other ecoaters in a relaxed setting.

Exhibit Night is another networking event that offers one-stop technology sourcing. Leading industry suppliers host this event with products and solutions to enhance ecoating operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with suppliers and experts in a no-pressure, fun atmosphere to discuss specific product and process issues. Exhibitors provide food and beverages, and often have some form of entertainment.
