Exair’s Type 303 stainless steel 2 1/2 NPT threaded-line, vacuum air-operated conveyors are designed to convert ordinary pipe into conveying systems for parts, scrap, trim and other bulk materials. According to the company, the conveyors can be used for food, chemical, pharmaceutical and medical processes or areas likely to be wet and corrosive which require the benefits of 303SS, including chemical and corrosion resistance, performance in higher temperatures, long service life and low maintenance. The larger size works to convey bigger parts and large volumes of material over long distances, while the threaded line vac is designed to attach to standard plumbing pipe couplers, making it easy to build a complete system using common pipe and fittings that are readily available.
