FAST International’s XF2 is designed with a spiral element for the ultrafiltration of electrocoat paint. The XF2 is said to provide for high flux and minimized fouling. According to the company, the internal configuration covers a more effective area and enables higher permeate rates, better cleaning recovery and longer service life. The company says that the XF2 reduces capital and operating costs by increasing the amount of permeate, extending the life of the element and reducing the number or size of the elements.
