George Koch Sons Acquires Engineered Finishing Solutions

Koch, which was established in 1873, is based in Evansville, Indiana, and also has operations in Caledonia, Michigan, as well as in Queretaro, Mexico, and in Lichfield, England. Based in Crystal Lake, Illinois, EFS offered customized, turnkey finishing solutions for liquid and powder coating, as well as electrocoat. Koch officials say the purchase adds porcelain enamel expertise to the company’s portfolio of automated finishing systems, which include liquid and powder coatings, electrocoat, anodizing and plating.
EFS’s Kevin Coursin will join Koch as global account sales manager in the appliance industry.
