Georgia Powder Coating Wins Chamber Award

Georgia Powder Coating — a Products Finishing Top Shops Benchmarking Survey award recipient — received an award from the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce's eighth annual industry appreciation luncheon for their work on shop safety.
The Gainesville Times reports that "Georgia Powder Coating walked away with the safety culture award. The Gainesville company provides powder coating to companies throughout the nation and employs 49 people. Recently it implemented an employee safety committee and has seen a reduction in safety issues since."
Business leaders in the area gathered to also celebrate Gainesville and Hall County’s 43 new and expanded businesses that have created 1,800 jobs and $427 million in capital investment since the start of 2015.
Georgia Power Coating has grown into one of the most experienced and respected metal powder coat finishing operations on the East Coast. They now employee over 45 professionals and operate out of a large facility in Gainesville.
