Graymills Corp., a Chicago based manufacturer of pumps and parts washers, was featured in the highly acclaimed Science Channel series, How It’s Made. The episode was first broadcast on June 11, and demonstrated the production of an Immersion Parts Washer. This machine was designed, engineered and produced at Graymills factory in Chicago, Illinois.

Viewers were taken through the steps of manufacturing this large unit, including laser cutting, metal folding, MIG welding, and powder coating to the final assembly of the washer before shipment. Ultimately, the unit ended up on the production floor of a large industrial manufacturing plant.
