IMTS Partners with Products Finishing on Parts Cleaning Conference
IMTS to host the Parts Cleaning Conference next year during the show on Sept. 16.
Products Finishing and Production Machining are partnering with the largest manufacturing technology trade show in the U.S., the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), to host the Parts Cleaning Conference next year during the show on Sept. 16. IMTS will run Sept. 14-19 in Chicago at McCormick Place.
The technical conference will coincide with a special pavilion at IMTS, featuring parts cleaning suppliers and equipment vendors. Darren Williams, Ph.D., cleaning research group leader and professor of physical chemistry at Sam Houston State University, will be the conference chair.
He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Texas and a doctorate in physical chemistry from Oregon State University. Dr. Williams has hosted the Product Quality Cleaning Workshop at Sam Houston State. The next one will be May 13-14, 2020.
“I am excited to chair the Parts Cleaning Conference at the upcoming IMTS,” he says. “I have attended parts cleaning conferences going back to 2010. The content has always been valuable to my cleaning research group’s work, and these conferences have been my No. 1 source of contacts in the cleaning industry.”
Products Finishing partners with Production Machining magazine to publish a Parts Cleaning section four times a year that centers on both industrial and precision cleaning applications.
