Bearcat Anodizing in Goshen, Indiana, is working with First State Bank and the Business Development Corp. of South Bend on a U.S. Small Business Administration financing package of $5.5 million for the purchase and installation of the new anodizing line.
As a result of the project, the company expects to create 16 new full-time jobs within the next two years.
Bearcat Corp, has been in business since 1971, providing metal fabrication services for customers across the U.S. In 2016, the company formed Bearcat Anodizing to own the project equipment that allowed it to address its anodizing needs in house. The company says this has provided significant annual savings and a heightened level of quality assurance for its customers.
Bearcat Anodizing’s current line consists of 24-foot tanks capable of handling material as long as 266 inches.
