MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions, a division of MacDermid Performance Solutions, organized a charity event that raised more than $6,000 for Cleveland University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

More than 200 guests attended the Rock N’ Family BBQ on June 5, at Mall C, close to the convention center where this year’s Sur/Fin conference and trade show took place. The evening included games such as corn hole, “Golf Challenge,” “Pop a Shot” and “Hi-Striker.” A live band played in the shadow of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, while guests enjoyed food and beverages, several raffles and a live auction. All proceeds went to the hospital.

“Support from events such as the MacDermid Enthone Family BBQ will help expand University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s exceptional care through innovative programs and services in our community and beyond,” says Debbie Lewis, the hospital’s director, Strategic Community Initiatives, Institutional Relations and Development. “On behalf of the babies, children and young adults we are privileged to care for here at UH Rainbow, thank you for choosing our organization as the event’s official charity.”

MacDermid Enthone says it believes giving back to the community is a responsibility we all share and it is extremely grateful to all those who attended the event and were beyond generous with their donations. “We are honored and humbled by the generosity of so many as we partnered together to raise money for the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland,” says Richard Lynch, vice president, Americas. “Please accept our sincere thank you and I look forward to the good we can do next year to benefit the less fortunate.”
