Michigan NASF Holds Technical Session, Dinner/Dance

The technical session is from 8 a.m. to noon at the J.W. Marriott; and the dinner/dance is at The B.O.B. at 6 p.m. with cocktails, dinner and dancing with entertainment provided by Rusty's BA Band.

The Michigan Chapter of the NASF is holding its Technical Session and Dinner/Dance on Saturday, March 23, at the J.W. Marriott in Grand Rapids and The B.O.B.

The technical session is from 8 a.m. to noon at the J.W. Marriott; and the dinner/dance is at The B.O.B at 6 p.m. with cocktails, dinner and dancing. Entertainment is provided by Rusty's BA Band. 

Current technical session speakers:

  • Cory Rusinek, scientist at Michigan State University: PFAS destruction using boron-doped diamond electrodes.
  • Frank Altmayer: Common causes of salt spray failures.
  • Doug Morrison, Trion Coatings: Alternative to Hexavalent Chrome.
  • There will also be an PFOS update.
