Parts Cleaning Conference Seeks Speakers
The 2019 conference will be held in April during the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS), which has seen record attendance at the past three events.
The Parts Cleaning Conference will be held next April 3-4 in Cleveland, Ohio, during the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS), and organizers are collecting abstracts from those interested in presenting.
The past three PMTS events have seen record attendance, and the Parts Cleaning Conference provides a venue where cleaning meets machining. Often unfairly viewed as a necessary evil to the machining process, a proper cleaning regiment can save time and money, if properly implemented. This conference is a two-day program offering a robust lineup of technical experts that will review everything from applications and best practices to chemistry and environmental regulations, organizers say.
To maximize the exposure and longevity of each speaker's work, pre-show promotion will be provided in both Production Machining and Products Finishing magazines. Also included with a commitment to presenting at the conference is the opportunity to have a written version of the presentation published online and the chance to be published in the printed editions of each magazine.
Suggestions for conference session topics include:
- Fundamentals/Benefits of Cleaning
- Industry-Specific Cleaning Strategies
- Cleaning Equipment Configurations/Automation
- New Cleaning Processes and Technologies
- Corrosion Protection – When and Why?
- Environmental Issues and Recycling
