Poly-Plating in Chicopee, Mass is nearing the completion of a two-year exemption of a scheduled Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspection as an honored participant in the organization's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP).

SHARP participation initially grants the business owner up to a two-year exemption from an OSHA scheduled inspection if the worksite continues to protect the safety and health of its workers. After this exemption period is over, the employer may be awarded a renewal of up to three years.
