Professional Plating Open House Draws More Than 600
Visitors were given full-scale tours that encompassed the entire 200,000-square-foot facility as well as the new Team Center, Worklounge and Wellness Center, Collaboration Room, and Comfort Suite.
Professional Plating hosted an open house in May that drew more than 600 visitors to its expanded facility in Brillion, Wisconsin.
Customers, vendors, and local businesses partners and area residents were given full-scale tours that encompassed the entire 200,000-square-foot facility as well as the new Team Center, Worklounge and Wellness Center, Collaboration Room, and Comfort Suite.
Larry Dietz, the shop’s general manager, says the expansion began the first week of January and is Phase 5 of a $8.5 million project that has resulted in 60,000 additional square feet of space that includes one of the largest zinc plating lines in the region.
“The new spaces will allow our team to have upgraded areas to relax before, during and after work,” he says. “We have a new cafeteria, kitchen, locker rooms, restrooms and a fully furnished Wellness Center with 20 pieces of equipment that all PPI team members are able to use at no charge.”
The Collaboration Room is a specialty area that allows for group problem-solving and connection, and the fully furnished Comfort Suite can be used by team members who are experiencing an illness during their shifts or as a privacy area for nursing mothers.
