Registration is open for those wishing to attend Powder Coating Week 2020, which will be held Feb, 17-20 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.

The event is comprised of three separate programs, offering training, keynote presentations, technical sessions, tabletop exhibits, roundtable discussions, expert panels and social activities for everyone in the powder coating industry.

“We are excited to bring a well-rounded selection of topics and new insights designed to help both powder coaters of all experience levels and those looking to get into powder coating,” says Trena Benson, executive director of the Powder Coating Institute (PCI), which is organizing the event. “Attendees will have ample time to connect with industry professionals and gain a great deal of knowledge and expertise to improve their finishing operations.”

Powder Coating Week begins with the Powder Coating 101 Workshop: The Basics, which will run concurrently with PCI’s Custom Coater Forum on Feb. 17 and 18. PCI’s long-standing Powder Coating Technical Conference and Tabletop Exhibition will start on the evening of Feb. 18 and run through Feb. 20. The tabletop exhibition will be held as a part of the Powder Coating Technical Conference and will include exhibits from powder coating manufacturers, powder coating application equipment manufacturers, systems houses, chemical suppliers and various services that support the powder coating industry.

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, the Technical Conference features a keynote presentation from Lisa Ryan with Grategy, “Sweat the Small Stuff – Attention to Detail Helps You Create a Workplace Culture that Rocks.” Ryan’s program will address specific strategies that you can put into practice immediately which, when applied consistently, create a workplace culture where people want to come to work and stay working.

Day two of the technical conference kicks off with Powder Coating Roundtables during breakfast. Peer discussions continue to be one of the greatest benefits of attending these industry events. The roundtables will provide a platform for attendees to share information on key topics in a casual setting. Following the general sessions each morning, attendees can choose from a wide range of concurrent breakout tracks covering a myriad of powder coating-related topics. The tabletop exhibition will be open during lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, along with a reception on Wednesday evening.
