This session will cover all types of hooks and options for the end user. Bill Oney will provide considerations for design to promote performance and ergonomics and save money along with case studies and examples of improved tooling projects. Larry Ensley will address the pretreatment process which is a vital step in the surface finishing process. Having the correct equipment and latest pretreatment chemistry can provide increased corrosion protection and better paint adhesion as well as help reduce energy requirements, waste treatment costs, labor and water consumption. This webinar will briefly discuss the equipment requirements ranging from manual spray wand to multi-stage applications.

Bill Oney 

Hang Methods, Hook/Rack Cleaning and Line Density, TTX, Inc. 

Bill Oney recently accepted the position as a Sales Engineer for Therma-Tron-X (TTX).  His previous position was with American Finishing Resources as a Regional Business Development Manager. He had been with American Finishing Resources for 25 years and has held a variety of positions. Bill started as a tool designer/fabricator and maintenance person. He became a manager for the paint stripping operation in Chilton Wisconsin and managed the Fabrication division. He has worked as a design engineer for paint tooling traveling with fellow account managers in a 10 state footprint.  Bill assists companies by providing finishing line equipment solutions. He has a degree in Management and Welding. Bill has been part of the CCAI for 15 plus years and is a past president for the Wisconsin board and serves on the National board of directors as Vice President. Bill is a retired Marine Warrant Officer who served for 21 years and served in Gulf War-Operation Desert Storm.

For the past 23 years, Larry has provided affordable and realistic surface finishing solutions for customers ranging from Fortune 100 OEMs to boutique metal finishers. This wide range of process experience puts him in the perfect position to learn and absorb all of the latest process improvements, industry knowledge and surface finishing advancements. Larry formulates and services Hubbard-Hall’s line of pretreatment, cleaning, rust prevention and paint stripping products.
