Asterion Hires Graham Torr as Director of Technical Services
Torr will be responsible for the direction of technical services at Asterion, including its analytical laboratory, customer product training, application support, and installation of pretreatment, plating and powder coatings processes.

Asterion LLC has hired Graham Torr as director of technical services, responsible for the direction of technical services including Asterion’s analytical laboratory, customer product training, application support, and installation of pretreatment, plating and powder coatings processes.
Torr’s surface finishing experience ranges from job shop management to specialty chemicals sales and service. Prior to joining Asterion, he was the U.S. national sales manager for a global provider of decorative, functional and specialty coatings. He also previously served as a plant manager for two plating facilities.
“Graham is an industry veteran that is respected by customers and competitors alike,” says Asterion President and CEO Blair Vandivier. “His unique combination of job shop, specialty chemical, technical and sales experience will provide unrivaled value to Asterion customers.”
Torr is an active member of the National Association for Surface Finishing and previously served as a director of the Southwest Michigan NASF branch. A Certified Electroplater Finisher 2, he has earned multiple AESF certifications in courses ranging from electrochemistry to electrofinishing metallurgy.RELATED CONTENT
