Georgia Powder Coating Sponsors Personal Finance Curriculum

Georgia Powder Coating was honored in 2020 as the Top Shop in powder coating.

Georgia Powder Coating (GPC, Gainesville, Ga.) has announced that it is sponsoring the industry’s leading personal finance curriculum, Ramsey Solution’s Foundations in Personal Finance within the company’s community. The curriculum is being offered free of charge to Chestatee High School and Lakeview Academy. GPC joined forces with Ramsey Solutions, one of America’s most well-known financial experts, in December 2020.

According to Dallas Cooley, Vice President of Sales, “It’s estimated 1,000 students will be impacted, but if only one student applies the life-changing principles revealed in this course, my partners, Counte Cooley and Stanley Phillips, along with our entire team here at Georgia Powder Coating, feel that it’s worth it.”

He adds, “Financial literacy enables us to discern the sustainability of political schemes, builds discipline and confidence, and helps to guard us against financial distress; few things provide such personal empowerment and freedom.  No longer should a grown adult regretfully ask ‘Why didn’t anyone teach me this in high school?’”

Dave Ramsey’s Foundations in Personal Finance course is a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide students with sound financial principles that will guide them into adulthood. On video, personal finance expert, Dave Ramsey, and his team educate and entertain students as they learn how to avoid debt, build wealth, and give like no one else.  The course meets personal finance standards in all 50 states as well as national standards suggested by the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.
