Vantage Specialty Chemicals Acquires B&B Tritech
B&B manufactures aircraft paint removers, MIL-spec cleaners, turbine engine gas path cleaners, exterior aircraft cleaners and other surface treatments.
H.I.G. Capital, a global private equity investment firm with $25 billion of equity capital under management, says its portfolio company, Vantage Specialty Chemicals Holdings, has acquired B&B Tritech of Hialeah, Florida. B&B is a global manufacturer of surface treatment solutions for defense and commercial aviation markets, including aircraft paint removers, MIL-spec cleaners, turbine engine gas path cleaners, exterior aircraft cleaners and more.
